Metamorphosis

For this piece, I neatly positioned Luna moths together and noticed a beautiful pattern they made when I played with opacity and form. Because this illustration was made along an entire pregnancy, I chose to name it "metamorphosis" because I’m a fan of profound imagery and text. I created this for a special friend's sister and referenced three different sonograms of her baby to allude to the butterfly's life cycle.
